See You in the New Year!
A Way Abroad will be quiet for the rest of the year but back at it in January.
It’s vacation time and I’m oh so excited. More than anything, I’m truly looking forward to time away from work, Italian lessons, and juggling multiple projects at once.
But of course, the cherry on top of the cake is getting to see both of our families for the holidays - something we’ve never actually done before. We’ve divided and conquered, just visited one family, or didn’t see either but for the first time ever, we’ll be going from one family (country) to the other on Christmas Day.
I’m sure it’ll be a tiring trip but one we’re both looking forward to.

Truly, I’m so thankful for your support of A Way Abroad, both from the readers and writers. I never could have imagined what started back in 2019 off as a silly project to keep me entertained while recovering from ankle surgery would grow into this. This year alone we had half a million readers across almost every country in the world!
But for now, it’s time to turn off my computer and not turn it back on until the new year 😅
